THE Junkers F13Experience a living piece of aviation history
The Junkers F13 was the world’s first all-metal commercial aircraft in 1919. For you, this special aircraft is now taking off again, with all the materials and workmanship of course further developed to make the aircraft even safer and more stable in value.
Today, the production of the new Junkers F13 is in the hands of the world’s best aircraft builders. Long-forgotten processing techniques were re-learned and further developed for this project. A small series of unique aircraft is thus created by hand – each one is a one-of-a-kind, living piece of aviation history and an investment of lasting value that will delight you for many years to come.Download brochure
Safety & DesignSTATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY
The largely original replica is produced by hand according to the highest quality standards. The engine chosen is a Pratt & Whitney R-985, an American radial engine, the landing gear has been improved and the cockpit instruments adapted to today‘s needs and safety standards – all to ensure the ultimate flying experience.
An old classic with high-tech equipment
Even when flying a classic, pilots should find themselves in the present. To make the Junkers F13 ready for everyday flying, it has the latest generation technology in the cockpit. Thus, the traditional flight and engine monitoring instruments are standard equipment.
Reimagined for the modern ageTraditional Technology
The Junkers F13 is a piece of living aviation history. That is why we have also attached importance to working as historically correct as possible on the technical level. In this way, we succeeded in bridging the gap between state-of-the-art technology and the legend created by aviation pioneer Hugo Junkers.
R-985 engine from Pratt & WhitneyEngine with character
They are reliable and have a very special look: the 450 hp R-985 engines from Pratt & Whitney are a flagship of the Junkers F13. Pilots love them for their smooth flight characteristics and high power reserves. What’s more, with their star shape, they are a real eye-catcher, reminiscent of the pioneering days of aviation.
Graceful rear vieweye-catcher from all angles
No matter how you turn the Junkers F13, there is no shortage of beautiful perspectives. In the new edition of this classic, we have deliberately retained the original design. As a result, we combine modern flight technology, outstanding aerodynamics and a timeless aesthetic.
Front view with logoProud of its name
More than almost any other name, Junkers stands for German and international aviation history. We want to convey this historic spirit with the new edition of the F13. That is why we have placed the Junkers logo clearly visible on the nose of the aircraft to make the already striking front even more attractive.
The story of the Junkers F13It changed the world of aviation
In 1919, when there were still more horse-drawn vehicles on the roads than cars, the Junkers F13 took off for its maiden flight in Dessau (Saxony-Anhalt). At the time, it was the world‘s first all-metal commercial aircraft capable of carrying passengers, mail and freight. The outer shell was made of resistant corrugated duralumin sheet, which was a revolutionary idea of its designer, the aircraft manufacturer Hugo Junkers.
Today, the Junkers F13 is taking off again, offering its pilots and passengers the unique experience of flying through the air as it did 100 years ago. The visionary Dieter Morszeck, a passionate pilot, came up with the idea with his design team to reproduce the Junkers F13 true to the original, using materials and workmanship to make the new Junkers F13 even safer and more durable.
