Reimagined for the modern age

Traditional Technology

The Junkers F13 is a piece of living aviation history. That is why we have also attached importance to working as historically correct as possible on the technical level. In this way, we succeeded in bridging the gap between state-of-the-art technology and the legend created by aviation pioneer Hugo Junkers.

Engine with character

They are reliable and have a very special look: the 450 hp R-985 engines from Pratt & Whitney are a flagship of the Junkers F13. Pilots love them for their smooth flight characteristics and high power reserves. What’s more, with their star shape, they are a real eye-catcher, reminiscent of the pioneering days of aviation.

Proud of its name

More than almost any other name, Junkers stands for German and international aviation history. We want to convey this historic spirit with the new edition of the F13. That is why we have placed the Junkers logo clearly visible on the nose of the aircraft to make the already striking front even more attractive.

The story of the Junkers F13

It changed the world of aviation

In 1919, when there were still more horse-drawn vehicles on the roads than cars, the Junkers F13 took off for its maiden flight in Dessau (Saxony-Anhalt). At the time, it was the world‘s first all-metal commercial aircraft capable of carrying passengers, mail and freight. The outer shell was made of resistant corrugated duralumin sheet, which was a revolutionary idea of its designer, the aircraft manufacturer Hugo Junkers.
Today, the Junkers F13 is taking off again, offering its pilots and passengers the unique experience of flying through the air as it did 100 years ago. The visionary Dieter Morszeck, a passionate pilot, came up with the idea with his design team to reproduce the Junkers F13 true to the original, using materials and workmanship to make the new Junkers F13 even safer and more durable.
