Around 1000 aircraft fans gathered on July 8 for the sixth OldtimAIR air parade on the Stanserhorn to marvel at historic aircraft. Among the 23 vintage aircraft, the legendary Junkers F13 stole the show. And best of all: this flying legend took to the starting line at the parade in a double pack.
The aircraft enthusiasts were suitably thrilled when they saw the two Junkers F13s. After all, the faithful replicas of the world’s first all-metal commercial aircraft are a piece of aviation history you can touch. There were also aircraft from Stans production, including a Pilatus B4 towed by a Lightwing AC4, as well as the Republic RC-3 Seabee, the T-28C and the WACO YMF-5C. The parade not only made the hearts of aircraft fans beat faster, but also made former pilots reminisce.
