It is considered the leading international trade show for general aviation: The AERO in Friedrichshafen, with 670 exhibitors from 35 countries, is also recording a very good response in 2023. Of course, we cannot be absent with our gems at such a trade fair. From April 19 to 22, we look forward to welcoming you to our booth 117 in hall A3 and presenting our new stars in the sky: the Junkers A60 as well as the WACO YMF-5 and the GREAT LAKES 2T-1A-2.
World premiere: Junkers A60
Seating position, cabin and landing gear: With the new Junkers A60, we have made the impossible possible and improved on its near-perfect predecessor, the Junkers A50 Junior, in three key areas. In the Junkers A60, pilots sit side by side and, thanks to the new lockable cabin, can take off in bad weather to enjoy a wonderful flight. We have also improved the aerodynamic characteristics with the retractable landing gear.
WACO YMF-5 and GREAT LAKES 2T-1A-2 manufactured in Battle Creek (USA)
The newly built biplanes are now conquering the European market. The WACO YMF-5 with its 300 hp / 7-cylinder radial engine conveys flying in its original form. Just board this aircraft and enjoy absolute freedom. The smaller and more maneuverable Great Lakes, also an open biplane with a 180 hp Lycoming engine, is a basic aerobatic trainer. Both airplanes are handmade, based on the originals of the 30s with great attention to detail, but the construction standard and technology are according to modern times. You will find here the latest GARMIN equipment, modern braking systems, as well as an exclusive interior.
