The Dolkosh celebrated its fifth anniversary this year—and Junkers Aircraft was there once again. The gathering at Dolmar is one of the most important events in the German ultralight aviation scene and brings together pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and manufacturers every year.
The exceptionally high temperatures posed special challenges this time around: With temperatures reaching 39 degrees in the shade and the resulting high density altitude, test flights were unfortunately not possible. Nevertheless, the weekend was all about personal interaction. Many visitors took the opportunity to engage in fascinating conversations, make new connections, and get a look at our aircraft.
Our team at the booth once again received support from Julia Hundertmark, also known as FlyingJul. Together, we were able to enjoy many interesting encounters and share our enthusiasm for aviation with numerous visitors.

Even though this year’s circumstances have presented unique challenges, Dolkosh remains an important gathering place for the community—and a staple on our calendar of events.
